Classification:
Herbicide
Formulation:
Tribenuron-methyl 750 WDG (Water Dispersible Granule)
CAS NO:
101200-48-0
USAGE:
Systemic post-emergence herbicide for controlling broadleaf weeds in cereal
crops (wheat, barley, oats) and non-crop areas. Highly effective against Galium
aparine, Matricaria spp., Stellaria media, and other ALS inhibitor-sensitive
weeds.
Pack size:
100g, 500g, 1kg, 2kg, 5kg, or as required
Crop | Target Weeds | Dosage (750 WDG) | Application Timing | Remarks |
---|---|---|---|---|
Winter Wheat | Chickweed, Mayweed | 15-25 g/ha | Weeds 2-8 leaf stage | 1) REI: 48 hrs 2) Apply before stem elongation |
Spring Barley | Cleavers, Cornflower | 20-30 g/ha | Crop 2-5 tiller stage | Add surfactant (0.1-0.2% v/v) |
Oats | Field pansy, Speedwell | 10-15 g/ha | Weeds 2-4 true leaves | PHI: 60 days |
Non-crop Areas | Broadleaf weeds | 30-40 g/ha | Active weed growth | Do not apply near sensitive crops |
Mode of Action:
-Inhibits acetolactate synthase (ALS)
-Blocks branched-chain amino acid synthesis
-Systemic translocation via xylem and phloem
-Visible effects within 5-7 days
Benefits:
-Ultra-low dosage requirement
-Excellent crop safety in cereals
-Controls ALS-resistant weeds when mixed
-No tillage restrictions after application
Precautions:
-PPE: Coveralls, respirator, chemical-resistant gloves
-Buffer zone: 5m from water bodies
-Tank mix with MCPA for broader spectrum
-Storage: Keep dry below 35°C, shelf life 3 years
Environmental Hazards:
-Highly toxic to aquatic plants
-Moderate persistence (DT50 14-60 days)
-Low toxicity to bees and earthworms
-Avoid drift to sensitive broadleaf crops
